These are some resources to help you prepare for the Algebra 1 End of Course exam.
About the Exam
In this section, you'll find information about the End of Course exam. There are two especially important points: the exam must be worth 20% of your final grade and the score cannot be altered (in other words, you can't earn any extra credit on it). Those two regulations are set by the state department of education and there is absolutely no wiggle room with either one. If you pass the class, you will earn high school credit for Algebra 1. However, your grade will count as part of your high school GPA so you need to do your best.
This is the reference sheet that you will get when you take the EoC. These are the only formulas you will get during the exam so if you need to use other ones, you should memorize them before the test.
These are the standards and indicators that will be tested by the EoC.
Review Packets
Each review packet is worth up to 10 extra credit points towards your test grades (but not the End of Course test). You need to show your work in order to get the extra credit. The more effort you show in completing it, the more points you earn.
These are the questions that were used in class during our Algebra Trivia game on Monday, May 16th. (This counts as a review packet so you can get extra credit for it).
This is the review packet that was given out in class on Tuesday, May 17th. You should already have a copy but if you need another, you can print it from here.
This is another practice EoC. This is given to you in class after you complete and turn in the EoCreview.doc packet but if you'd like, you may print a copy from here.

Review Packet Answers
The answers for the review problems can be found here. These are for checking your answers after you have worked out the problems. They are not for scrawling on a piece of paper to try to get extra credit. Remember, you'll earn a better grade in the course if you study and put in some effort. 10 points of extra credit is tiny compared to the final exam grade so focus on understanding the material, not just getting a couple extra points.
